Hey chat is a new messenger app that combines both traditional messaging with suggested group chats to join based on your interests/hobbies. This project was completed as part of Briefbox’s UI portfolio builder course. The task was to use the logo they provided to create a main splash screen and dashboard for the app but I expanded on this further by creating an onboarding process.
I began by creating rough wireframes/sketches for each of the screens, once I was happy with the flow I turned the sketches into low-fi wireframes, and then finally into finished working prototype with and brand UI kit.
